Personal evangelism has always defined Southern Baptists.

This main focus constantly challenges us to build bridges of relationships with the lost in order to reach out to them with the good news of Jesus Christ. It is a great privilege to share the Gospel with unbelievers and to accept a personal responsibility for those around us who have never made a commitment to follow Jesus Christ. Let this year’s Soul-Winning Commitment Day challenge you to keep evangelism the main thing by personally committing to pray for and to share Christ with those around you.

Overview

Who's In Your Wallet? This is the question for this year’s Soul-Winning Commitment Day. Southern Baptists across North America will be making commitments to reach out beyond the walls of their local churches to engage the culture with the good news of the gospel. Believers will select three persons for whom they will pray. Secondly, they will be encouraged to pray that their relationship will open the door for a conversation about Christ. Thirdly, they will pray that the responses of their three persons will be one of accepting Jesus as their Savior. They will keep those names in their wallet or purse and make a commitment to pray for their three persons one time a day six days a week.
